Frequently Asked Questions

Nourish for Tomorrow provides medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to prevent and treat chronic metabolic diseases. MNT services can be delivered to individual patients and their key support people (family or friends). MNT services also may be provided in group settings (classes) for those who want education and skill-building in a supportive group atmosphere.


Dietitians are trained to provide personalized, holistic, and integrative care to each patient that they serve. We take the time to get to know you and your lifestyle – your goals and dreams, your strengths and barriers, your social network, and the environments where you live and work. We provide individualized advice, recommendations, and motivational strategies to effectively support you in changing your key health behaviors. There are no “quick fixes,” but dietitians are skilled at finding effective and easier paths towards better health for their patients.


You have three options to make an appointment:

  • You can use our easy and convenient online booking system
  • You can call our phone number during business hours (425-224-7672)
  • You can send an email with a few dates and times that work for you (cynthia@nourishfortomorrow.com)


You will receive an email with a secure link to our online meeting from a site called Kalix. You may join by computer, tablet, or phone. If you join by computer or tablet, please join a few minutes early so you can test your speakers and microphone. Telemedicine provides the benefits of nutrition care without having the difficulties of navigating to an office.


Please look in your appointment confirmation email to find instructions about how to complete all paperwork in advance of your first full-length appointment. Cynthia will review this paperwork before your appointment so she has a basic understanding of your health concerns and needs.


Nourish for Tomorrow is considered an in-network provider for the following insurance companies:

  • Aetna
  • Kaiser PPO
  • Premera Blue Cross
  • Regence BlueShield
  • LifeWise Health Plan
  • UnitedHealthcare


We recommend you call your insurance company's customer service phone number on the back of your ID card and ask the following questions:

  1. Can you confirm that Cynthia Bartok, Registered Dietitian, is an in-network provider? Mention her National Provider Identifier: #1407626476
  2. Does my plan have a benefit for outpatient medical nutrition therapy (MNT)/nutrition counseling with an in-network provider? Mention CPT codes 97802 and 97803.
  3. Does my plan cover MNT for health maintenance (mention diagnostic code Z71.3) or do I have coverage only when I have certain diseases or conditions?
  4. Does my plan cover virtual care or do visits need to be in-person?
  5. Will I need a doctor's referral? Will I need preauthorization?
  6. If I have coverage, how many sessions (or hours) am I allowed in a calendar year? How many sessions am I allowed over the "lifetime" of the plan?
  7. Is there a co-pay or co-insurance?


We'd like you to be fully informed about your health insurance benefits and coverage, so you don't have any surprise medical bills!


If you have insurance, but Nourish for Tomorrow is not in your network, you can check with your insurance company to see if they cover out-of-network nutrition care. If your care may be covered, Cynthia will provide you with a monthly statement of services provided (“superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company. Your insurance company may reimburse you directly for some or all of the costs of your nutrition care. We will consider you a "cash pay" customer and bill your credit or debit card on file at the time of the visit.


If you do not have health insurance or your insurance will not cover out-of-network care, we will consider you a "cash pay" customer and bill your credit or debit card on file at the time of the visit.
